Employers have all the power to call police on their workers. Brenda spent time interviewing and polling tech and service workers on their experiences with police at work and opinions on police divestment in the workplace.

The project surveys past and current attempts to divest from police in the workplace. Brenda co-developed language with coworkers at Code for America and succeeded in advocating for a commitment from their employer to replace police with trained, unarmed professionals for crisis response at the office or during work events.
